A new type of explosive driven fragmentation test device

Abstract An important performance index of explosive is the driving ability fragment. A new fragment test device proposed in this paper. Taking spherical tungsten as object, influence thin shell and thick structure on was analyzed combined with TNT WY-1 explosives. The results show that designed can effectively distinguish different explosives to fragments. And simulation are good agreement experimental results. deviation velocity obtained by 5 % ~ 8 compared calculated Gurney model.
